Can I buy extra baggage online after booking?
Yes. You can buy extra baggage during the initial booking on the ancillary page, or after booking by logging into the Manage Booking platform on airseychelles.com. You can also buy it at the airport.
Where do I buy extra baggage?
Buy it on airseychelles.com: on the ancillary page during booking, through the Manage Booking tab with your booking reference and last name, at an airline sales office, at the airport, or via the call centre on +248 439 1000.

Excess baggage is charged per kilogram over your free allowance. Regional flights use one per-kg rate in USD; domestic flights between Mahe and Praslin use separate per-kg rates in SCR for residents and non-residents.
Is it cheaper to buy extra baggage online in advance vs at the airport?

Checked bags must not exceed 90 x 75 x 43 cm. No single checked item over 32 kg is accepted. Hand baggage must not exceed 55 x 40 x 20 cm (12 kg business / 7 kg economy regional, 5 kg domestic). Online excess purchases start at a 5 kg minimum.

Any single checked item over 32 kg is refused and must be repacked; contact the cargo department at [email protected] or +248 439 1046 / +248 439 1311 before the flight. Excess weight within limits is charged at the standard per-kg excess rates.

Are there any important exceptions or restrictions I should know?
Sports equipment counts toward your checked allowance and excess weight is charged at standard rates. Surfboards and windsurf equipment travel on international flights only. Through-ticket passengers keep their international allowance on connecting domestic flights.
