  2. Select the checked baggage weight package you need (15/20/25/30/35/40 kg) per person per flight segment.
  3. For bookings after the initial purchase, add baggage via Manage My Booking or the Customer Service Center at least 4 hours before scheduled departure.
  4. Complete payment and keep the confirmation for your records.

Yes. Online advance purchase is much cheaper than the airport: e.g. 15 kg costs TWD 850 during booking or TWD 1,000 via Manage My Booking versus TWD 1,600 at the airport; baggage beyond 15 kg bought at the airport is charged at the TWD 500/kg overweight rate.

How many extra bags can I buy, and what are the bag limits?

Checked baggage packages range from 15 kg to 40 kg per person per flight segment. Each checked piece must not exceed 30 kg; each side max 100 cm and total dimensions max 203 cm. A single oversized piece must not exceed 45 kg. Airport same-day purchase is capped at 15 kg.

What are the overweight or oversized baggage rules?

Each checked piece must be within 203 cm total dimensions with no side over 100 cm, and max 30 kg. Single oversized pieces (any side over 100 cm) may weigh up to 45 kg but incur a per-piece oversized handling fee (TWD 550-950 by channel), which excludes allowance and overweight fees. Excess above the prepaid allowance is charged TWD 500/kg at the airport. Contact the Customer Service Center in advance for oversized baggage.

Can I get a refund or transfer extra baggage if I cancel or change my booking?

No. If you buy checked baggage but do not take the flight, do not check bags, or do not use the purchased quota, it is non-refundable.

Are there any important exceptions or restrictions I should know?

Passengers on the same reservation code who check in together at the counter at the same time may pool their checked baggage allowance; passengers on different reservations may not share. Unseated infants cannot purchase additional baggage.
