Buy Baggage

Go to eastarjet.com and open My Booking (나의 예매).
Retrieve your reservation: direct bookings after login, or logged-out lookup with booking reference and passenger name for agency-issued tickets.
Select the prepaid checked baggage (위탁수하물 사전구매) option and choose the weight package you need.
Complete payment on the website, mobile web, or app (also available via the Eastar reservation center).
Complete payment at least 24 hours before departure.

Prepaid checked baggage is sold online as weight packages; price depends on region band and fare type. Limited to one purchase per passenger; weight over the purchased package is charged per kg at airport rates.

When is the deadline to buy extra baggage online?

Prepaid baggage can be bought, changed, or cancelled until 24 hours before departure. After an itinerary change or cancellation, prepaid baggage is automatically cancelled and refunded, and can be repurchased until 24 hours before departure.

Yes. Prepaid online baggage is discounted versus airport excess rates: for example, Japan routes cost KRW 15,000 per kg at the airport and Northeast Asia routes KRW 18,000 per kg, while gate-checked bags add a per-bag handling fee on top.

How many extra bags can I buy, and what are the bag limits?

Prepaid baggage is limited to one purchase per passenger; any weight over the purchased package is charged per kg at airport rates. A single checked bag must not exceed 32 kg (repack if heavier) and total dimensions must not exceed 203 cm. Cabin baggage allowance is 10 kg.

What are the overweight or oversized baggage rules?

There is no separate fixed overweight fee: weight above the free or prepaid allowance is charged per kg at the applicable airport excess rate. Any bag over 32 kg or over 203 cm in total dimensions may be refused carriage.

Can I get a refund or transfer extra baggage if I cancel or change my booking?

If the itinerary is changed or cancelled, prepaid baggage is automatically cancelled and refunded. Changes or cancellations are only refundable up to 24 hours before departure, and baggage can be repurchased until that deadline.

Are there any important exceptions or restrictions I should know?

Infants under 2 get one free stroller, bassinet, or car seat; on international Discount/Regular fares they also get 10 kg free, while Special fares get no additional free allowance. Wheelchairs and assistive devices for passengers with disabilities are carried free. Prepaid baggage is non-transferable.
