Domestic pre-paid excess baggage is sold in fixed weight slabs from 3 kg (INR 2250) to 40 kg (INR 30000), bookable on the website or call centre. All slab rates below are pre-paid INR from the Domestic Baggage Rates table on the Fees and Charges page.

Yes. Codeshare passengers can only add excess or additional baggage at the check-in counter, not online. Codeshare free allowances also differ (e.g. ex-Australia 46 kg in 2 pieces, EU/US/Africa 30–46 kg in 2 pieces).

What currencies can I pay baggage fees in?

Fees are listed in INR with equivalents in many local currencies; if payment is made in any currency other than INR, the fee is converted at the rate prevalent at payment time.

Can I get a refund on pre-paid excess baggage?

No. The product is non-cancellable and non-refundable in isolation, and excess baggage charges are non-refundable in case of no-shows and gate no-shows.

Are there important fare or route exceptions?

Lite fares include no free checked baggage (a 15 kg bag costs INR 2000 domestic / INR 3500 international). Domestic sectors connecting to another airline's international flight get 15 kg free, with excess at INR 700/kg.
