How to Add Extra Baggage & Prices on Star Air

  1. Open Manage Booking at book-sdg.crane.aero/ibe/reservation and retrieve your reservation with PNR and surname.
  2. Select the excess baggage option and choose an extra weight slab (5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 kg).
  3. Complete the online payment to confirm the extra allowance.
  4. If the online option is no longer offered, pay for the extra kilograms at the airport check-in counter.

Yes. Excess baggage weight slabs can be added at the time of ticket booking or afterwards through Star Air booking channels, at concessional online rates up to 2 hours before departure.

Where do I buy extra baggage?

Book excess baggage while making the reservation on starair.in, or retrieve an existing booking in Manage Booking with your PNR and surname and add a weight slab. Last-minute excess weight can also be paid for at the airport check-in counter.

When is the deadline to buy extra baggage online?

Pre-purchase excess baggage online up to 2 hours before departure to get the concessional slab rates; after that only the Rs. 600/kg airport rate applies.

How does the airline calculate extra baggage charges?

Excess baggage is sold in fixed additional-weight slabs over and above your free checked allowance: 5 kg for Rs. 2,750, 10 kg for Rs. 5,500, 15 kg for Rs. 8,250, 20 kg for Rs. 11,000 and 30 kg for Rs. 16,500. The same slabs and rates apply to Economy and Business fares.
