How to Add Extra Baggage & Prices on IrAero

Buy Baggage

Go to iraero.ru and open «Мои бронирования» (Manage Booking) under «Поиск заказа / бронирования».
Retrieve your booking with the booking reference and passenger surname.
Choose the extra baggage, carry-on upgrade or sports-equipment option and pay for it online (also offered while buying the ticket and during online check-in).
Alternatively, pay for the extra baggage at any authorized sales agency or at the departure-airport counter.
Keep the payment receipt and updated itinerary as proof of the prepaid service.

How many extra bags can I buy, and what are the bag limits?

The airline publishes no maximum number of extra pieces: each extra piece is priced individually per the fee schedule. Per-piece caps apply instead: a single piece over 30 kg counts as heavyweight and over 203 cm total dimensions as oversized (both need prior approval), and baggage over 50 kg travels as cargo. For a large number of extra pieces, confirm with the contact center at 8 800 707 49 96 before purchase.

What are the overweight or oversized baggage rules?

Are there any important exceptions or restrictions I should know?

Flights between Russia and Manchuria/Harbin allow 32 kg of baggage; flights 135–138 are limited to 5 kg carry-on and 15 kg checked baggage; Vladivostok–Baku is excluded from the nearby-abroad price bands; unaccompanied-minor service is arranged at agencies only.
